THE STORY

Today Credo lives at Battista Bootcamp HQ in South Boston. Steven coaches adults who take strength seriously and athletes who want a real off-season. The belief hasn’t moved since day one: find your why, just move.
Steven is writing it all down — how Credo started, what he got wrong, and the method that came out of it. Members get it first.

THE FRAMEWORK
PART I · THE SYSTEM
The tactical, step-by-step restoration of the human frame. We work the chain in this order, because each step is what makes the next one possible.
The feet
Unlocking the arch and reconnecting the big toe to spark the kinetic chain. The goal is a stable interface with the ground.
Glute ignition
Using that stable foot to trigger glute activation and external rotation of the femur.
Shock absorption
Turning the lower limbs into a pressurized system capable of absorbing and redistributing force.
Decompression
Correcting pelvic tilt to create space in the lumbar spine and decompress the lower back.
Core & posture
Tightening the core through alignment rather than effort, pulling the shoulders back to erase modern hunched posture.
Head & neck
Aligning the neck and head to the spine to create a neutral, pressurized column.
Composition change
Moving the nervous system into a safe state, so the body can finally burn fat and build muscle efficiently.
PART II · FIRST PRINCIPLES
The science that governs why the system works. None of this is specific to Credo — it is how every human body is built to operate.
The structural model
The body is a tension-based suspension system, not a compression-based stack of bones. If one part moves, the whole web reacts.
Sherrington's Law
The contagion of strength. Tension in one muscle — the big toe, the grip — recruits its neighbors and raises total force output.
Force distribution
The diagonal lines of fascia, opposite hip to opposite shoulder, that carry power across the body.
Tissue adaptation
Bone and soft tissue remodel themselves around the mechanical stress you apply. We change the density of your frame.
Specific adaptation
The body gets better at what it does most. We train for autonomous expression — fluid, reactive mastery.
Efficiency
The body always takes the path of least resistance. Our job is to make perfect mechanics that path.
PART III · THE PHILOSOPHY
What all of it is actually for.
Reclaiming the movement capabilities you were born with, before modern life stripped them away.
Protecting the joints so maximal athletic output stays available to you for a lifetime.
The basics of lifting are vital — but only once the foundation underneath them has been reset.
Moving past exercise into a state where the body performs instinctively, without being managed.
WORK WITH STEVEN
Ongoing coaching is by inquiry — share your goal and Steven will take it from there.
